Barnsley 



£19,000 - £23,000 per annum (salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications)

The School and Role  



Vision for Education are currently recruiting for a Learning Support Assistant to start a long-term post at a Primary School in Barnsley. You will be required to work closely with the Head Teacher, parents and governors to help develop the school; sharing ideas continue the school moving forward.  





The role is required to work in Year 5/6 and provide general classroom assistance within the classroom. You will also be required to work as a SMSA for 5 hours each week. The working hours for this role are; 8:30-3:30.  





The school is part of a Multi-Academy Trust and works closely with other schools within the trust. The school supports children from Nursery to Year 6. The school offers the opportunity for support and CPD opportunities.  





Requirements  



The desired Teaching Assistant will have;  





  • Experience of working with primary school aged children  


  • Experience of working with pupils with SEND  


  • A passion for the progress of primary school pupils  


  • An ability to work as part of a team  


  • Be adaptable, flexible, and punctual  


  • Experience and confident with the phonic programme – Read, Write, Inc
