Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team at a Primary School in Little Hulton, Salford. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with class teachers to provide support and guidance to students, ensuring that every child can access a high-quality education.

Responsibilities:

• Supporting the class teacher in planning and delivering engaging and stimulating lessons
• Providing support to students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), including those with behavioural, emotional and social difficulties
• Monitoring and recording the progress of students, ensuring that interventions are implemented where necessary
• Building positive relationships with students and their families, promoting a positive learning environment
• Contributing to the wider school community, including supporting with extracurricular activities and events

Requirements:

• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
• Experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a Primary School setting
• Knowledge and understanding of the Primary School curriculum
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff
• Enchanced DBS on the Update service and right to work in the UK
