Be the guiding force for students with special educational needs! We are recruiting a passionate and caring SEN Teaching Assistant to contribute to this school's culture of support and inclusion.

This amazing specialist school is looking for Teaching Assistants to join their inclusive and creative setting. This is a full time, long term position, dedicated to supporting students on a 1:1 basis. The role is exclusively term time only, with required hours from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday.

The school is set in beautiful grounds, giving ample outdoor space for the students to learn, play and relax. With around 70 students on role, the site is busy and thriving, giving an air of excitement to the day. The students range from 5 to 16 years old and have a range of needs including autism, ADHD, and moderate learning difficulties.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will work on a 1:1 basis, supporting the students with an individualised approach. You will be a calming and reassuring presence to the students, enabling them to learn and feel safe in the classroom. The school has fantastic facilities which the students love to explore! Art rooms, forest school and sports halls play a big part in the day, giving the students time away from the main classrooms.

You will leave each day knowing the difference you've made in someone's life!

Key Skills and Experience Needed:


  • Empathy, resilience, and a positive attitude
  • Willingness to learn
  • Experience with SEN/SEMH is desirable but not essential
  • Own transport due to location desirable
  • GCSE Maths and English grade C or equivalent
  • DBS on the update service desirable
  • Right to Work in the UK
