Make a difference in the lives of exceptional learners by stepping into the role of an SEN Teaching Assistant in a supportive and inclusive school.

This specialist school is looking for Teaching Assistants to join their inclusive and creative setting. This is a full time, long term position, dedicated to supporting students on a 1:1 basis. The role is exclusively term time only, with required hours from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday.

The setting is bright, welcoming and provides the safe and encouraging environment, children need to thrive. The school supports approximately 60 students from 6 to 13 years old with a range of complex needs including autism, ADHD, and moderate learning difficulties.

You will be providing 1:1 support in the classroom and outside while engaging in extracurricular activities. There are a wide range of facilities, well resourced classrooms, beautiful grounds and open spaces, horticulture area and more. This is an inspiring setting, providing safe, and individualised learning.

You will work closely with dedicated teachers and staff, and play a crucial role in supporting students with varied needs. Your duties will include aiding in lesson planning and execution, offering personalised guidance, and ensuring the smooth operation of the school. Whether you are assisting younger children or older students, you will have the chance to make a meaningful difference in their lives, helping them thrive both academically and emotionally.

Key Skills and Experience Needed:


  • Empathy, resilience, and a positive attitude
  • Willingness to learn
  • Experience with SEN/SEMH is desirable but not essential
  • Own transport due to location desirable
  • GCSE Maths and English grade C or equivalent
  • DBS on the update service desirable
  • Right to Work in the UK
