Position: Year 5 Teaching Assistant (Level 3 Qualified)
Location: Burnley
Role Overview: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Level 3 Qualified Teaching Assistant to join a Year 5 team in a Primary School in Burnley. The ideal candidate will be committed to supporting the educational and developmental needs of our students, working closely with the class teacher to ensure a positive and engaging learning experience for all children.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering engaging and effective lessons.
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Assist in the preparation of classroom materials and resources.
Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to the class teacher.
Support the social and emotional well-being of students.
Help manage classroom behavior in line with the school's policies and ethos.
Participate in school events, outings, and extracurricular activities.Qualifications and Skills:
Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is essential.
Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant, preferably in Key Stage 2.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
