Teaching Assistant - KS1

Dunbar is looking to recruit for a Teaching Assistant that has experience in a Primary setting (ideally KS1), is very hard-working and ambitious, Drives because of the location in Bedford and has great numeracy and literacy skills.

You will need a DBS on the update service to apply as the position is to start immediately and full-time.

The role of a Teaching Assistant is to support the classroom Teacher and pupils with the activies, assessments and general classwork. You would be required to help with either lunchtime and breaktime, set up the classes and tidy away at the end of the lessons, provide feedback to the parents if required and provide a safe enviorment for the children.

There would be potential for progression within the role and the school is a OFSTED rating Good.

The requirements to apply:

• Drive - willing to drive in Bedfordshire
• DBS on the update service
• Minimum of 6 months experience as a Teaching Assistant
• Great numeracy and literacy skills
