Position: Teaching Assistant - Key Stage 2 (KS2)

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our Key Stage 2 team at Oldham Primary School. The successful candidate will work alongside the class teacher to support the learning and development of students in years 3-6.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist the class teacher in planning, delivering and assessing lessons

Provide support for individual and small group work

Help to prepare and maintain a stimulating and safe learning environment

Work with students who have special educational needs and support their inclusion in the classroom

Support the class teacher in the management of student behavior

Provide feedback to the class teacher on student progress and any concerns

Qualifications and Experience:

Minimum of a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent

Experience of working with primary aged children, particularly in Key Stage 2

Strong literacy and numeracy skills

Good communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work as part of a team

A positive and flexible approach to work
