Job Title: Teaching Assistant
Location: Hackney
Are you a dynamic and enthusiastic educator looking for an exciting opportunity to inspire young minds? GSL Education are actively looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant for a Primary Client School in Hackney. You will help support children develop their education, supporting them in their work set out by the teacher.

Responsibilities:


  • Support the primary school teaching team in delivering engaging and well-planned lessons.
  • Assist in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Provide individualized support to students, including those with diverse learning needs.
  • Help implement various teaching strategies to cater to different learning styles.
  • Assist with classroom management and maintaining a positive learning atmosphere.
  • Collaborate with the teaching team to prepare learning materials and resources.
  • Support students during activities, assignments, and assessments.
  • Communicate effectively with teachers, parents/guardians, and other staff members.
  • Help maintain accurate records and documentation.

Requirements:


  • Relevant qualifications or training in education or a related field preferred.
  • Experience working with children in a primary school setting.
  • Previous experience working with children with SEND.
  • Familiarity with the primary school curriculum and teaching methods.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine interest in supporting students' learning and well-being.
  • Adaptability, flexibility, and a collaborative approach.
  • Commitment to professional development and learning.
