Goole Academy are looking to appoint a Teacher of English to join our academy in September 2024 on a full time, permanent basis. Located just off Junction 36 of the M62; many students, but not all, live within walking distance.The Academy is fed by a total of 10 primary schools which vary significantly in size.There has been a recent surge in popularity with the overall number of children on roll rising sharply. Numbers in Key Stage 4 are progressing towards our Pupil Admission Number (PAN) of 210.However, in KS3 we have had a record number of first choice applications with us exceeding PAN for the last three years with 280, 240 and 270 first choice applications.This is unprecedented for us, and the trend looks set to continue.In September 2023 we will have close to 1200 children on roll. An increase of almost 400 children in the last four years.
