Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and inspiring DT lessons across Key Stage 3 - 5.
  • Teaching Product Design to Key Stage 5 is essential
  • Teaching Construction to KS4 is desired.
  • Parents Evening attendance
  • Support with the planning and organising of school trips.
  • AQA Syllabus
  • Support with extracurricular sessions
  • Embrace the role of a form tutor, supporting students' personal growth and development.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or international equivalent qualification
  • Enhanced DBS certificate to ensure a safe learning environment.
  • Open to Early Career Teachers (ECTs), offering a supportive and growth-oriented environment.
  • A strong drive and determination to progress students' technological skills and overall learning.
  • An availability to start on the 1st week of the 2024/25 Academic Calendar
