Tradewind are recruiting! Are you a teacher of Boys' PE looking for a new role in Oldham?

Tradewind Recruitment is currently looking for an enthusiastic PE teacher join an academy in Oldham from April 2024 to July 2024

This is a full-time temporary teaching role to cover a staff absence.

The Role

Teacher of Boy's PE and Sport

Five days a week - working hours are 8am to 3.15pm

Teacher of Core PE and OCR Cambridge Nationals in Sports Science

Delivery of practical and theory physical education lessons

Enthusiastic and supportive approach to challenging behaviour

Innovative teacher able to adapt lessons to the changing needs of students with a focus on health and wellbeing

A PE teacher keen to participate in the school's extra-curricular PE activities would be welcome.

The academy are interested in hearing from early career teachers, experienced QTS teachers or FE lecturers with experience of teaching PE or Sport to students aged 11 to 16.

Part of a successful multi academy trust with 11 schools in Oldham and Kirklees.

Students play Basketball, Netball, Football, Cricket, Fitness.

The school partners with a Premiership Football club to give students access to sports and related careers.

To join us and be successful in this PE Teacher role, you will need to:

Hold QTS Status or QTLS

This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional references checks

Provide a CV with 10 years of employment/education history included and any employment breaks must be explained

Have the legal right to work in the UK on a full-time temporary basis.

As this role involves supervising the boys in the changing rooms the school can only accept applications from male teachers.
