Your responsibilities will span across tax preparation, treasury management, risk appetite monitoring, relationship management with banks and counterparties, among others. You will also be involved in preparing board/committee papers, including monthly Operational Governance Committee pack, tax strategy and dividend papers. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, excellent time management skills, and the ability to work under pressure.Support the Financial Controller with tax, treasury, and other operational responsibilities.Prepare and submit quarterly VAT returns.Provide financial information to external advisors for tax reporting and annual Corporation Tax returns.Coordinate tax payments ensuring all are made within required deadlines.Forecast and review operational cash flows including management of cash balances and deposits.Manage currency exposures and existing hedging instruments.Coordinate preparation of Board / Committee papers including monthly Operational Governance Committee pack, tax strategy and dividend papers.Monitor Risk Appetite Statement metrics.Manage relationships, mandates, documentation and onboarding with banks and other counterparties.What you bring:The ideal candidate for this Tax & Treasury Manager role is a qualified accountant with at least 2 years of post-qualified experience in the industry. You should have advanced MS Excel skills and be competent in using MS Word and PowerPoint. Experience with a complex ERP system such as SAP or Oracle is essential. Strong numerical and analytical skills are key to success in this role. You should also have excellent time management skills and the ability to communicate financial information clearly.
