Tax Senior

Accounts and Tax Senior required joining our client an Accountancy Practice located in the Barnes area (SW London). Our client is looking for an Accounts and Tax Senior to join their expanding accounts team to run a portfolio of accountancy and tax clients.

The suitable candidate will be based locally to Barnes and have a minimum of 4 years' experience within an accountancy practice.

Tax Senior / Semi Senior Position Overview

• Running a portfolio of accountancy and tax clients
• Preparation of personal tax returns for a portfolio of clients
• Preparation of financial statements and regularly prepare financial statements in accordance with FRS105 and FRS102.
• Preparation, review & submission of corporation tax returns.
• Advising individuals and companies of their tax liabilities.
• Liaising with HMRC on behalf of clients.
• Assisting with HMRC enquiries into personal and corporate tax returns.
• Identifying tax-planning opportunities within individual and corporate client portfolios.
• Supervising staff, some of which will be qualified and they will be responsible for running a portfolio

Tax Senior / Semi Senior Position Requirements

• 4+ years' experience working within an accountancy practice
• Good knowledge of corporation tax
• Experience using PTP software is preferable
• Have a good understanding of all different types of tax
• Proficient in Sage, Xero and QuickBooks
• ACCA, AAT, ACA Qualified/ Part Qualified or QBE
• Live locally to Barnes

Tax Senior / Semi Senior Position Remuneration

Salary �40,000 - �55,000

Hours 9am- 5:30pm

Days Monday- Friday

Annual leave 20 days + bank holidays
