The client, based in Surrey, is one of the region's leading firms of independent chartered accountants and chartered tax advisors. The firm is well established with an expert team who work with an extremely diverse range of clients to include high net worth individuals, family owned businesses and professional partnerships.

The firm has a successful growth track record and focussed transparent goals for their future expansion. This has created an exciting opportunity for a Tax Senior/Manager.
The role demands an individual who has considerable expertise in personal tax who can demonstrate technical capability and the desire to continue developing their knowledge. Reporting directly to the Partners you will have overall responsibility and accountability for the department and you will work closely with all the main stakeholders in the firm to support the firm's portfolio of clients. The role holder will have responsibility for managing and improving the private client function. The department assists with the taxation affairs of around 1,000 private clients. Typical clients include HNWI’s, Non-resident/Non Domiciled Taxpayers, Trusts & Estates and business owners and their families. Who is the client looking for?
You will be a highly motivated individual who wishes to work for an extremely professional firm. You will probably be working for a Top 50 or boutique tax firm; perhaps you wish to make the move out of London to a professional firm in Surrey. You will be CTA qualified, perhaps with an accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA) and be motivated to lead a small Tax team of 5 to review the compliance work of the more junior staff, motivate and develop active studiers and ensure all the work of the team is compliant with uptodate legislation. You will be an ambitious individual looking to develop your career perhaps making the move from Tax Supervisor looking for your first opportunity as Tax Manager
