Posted today Full Job Description Full Job DescriptionTax ProductTax Product is a key product horizontalwithin Custody Services, a leading provider of global custody andlocal custody services to cross border institutional investors andintermediaries.Tax Product is responsible for definingand executing on a product roadmap for tax services delivered to crossborder institutional investors. The product roadmap includes definingtax reclaim, reduction at source and CGT services; managing cost ofproduction across global hub and country locations; defining andexecuting on a global technology strategy; tracking and responding toregulatory changes; and implementing and executing on a risk andcontrol framework.Key Responsibilities of the TaxProduct Manager/ DeveloperThe Tax Product Manager isexpected to contribute towards the development of short and long-termobjectives for Citi's tax product offerings, technology andoperations strategies, and to drive change in partnership with globaland regional stakeholders. The Product Manager is responsible fordriving consistency in execution of the product strategy acrosscountries and operational hubs. To be successful, the Tax ProductManager must have a strong understanding of both cross borderinstitutional clients and global market tax practices and regulations.The Tax Product Manager responsibilities include thefollowing:ProductDefining taxservicing and client delivery standards for global and local custodyservices in partnership with Regions, Operations, Corporate Tax andother stakeholdersExecuting on the tax strategy inpartnership with Technology and OperationsFollowingmarket, industry and client trends to own field and adapts them forapplication Citi's products and solutions platformsManaging client and competitor market research and developing productinnovation roadmapProviding an enhanced client servicesfunction within Tax Product and supporting key clients on tax relatedissuesMonitoring tax changes globally for impact onclients or services and, when necessary, implementing strategicsolutionsDeveloping a market advocacy program for taxservices that demonstrates industry and local market leadershipDefining strategies for data governance and data services inpartnerships with the Securities Services Data ProgramParticipating in industry initiatives relating to tax services and theapplication of new technologiesRepresenting CitiSecurities Services in industry forums and conferencesOperations & TechnologyUnderstanding total cost ofproduction and maintaining an operations and location strategy inpartnership with OperationsExecuting on a move-to-commontechnology strategy in partnership with TechnologyDefining, prioritizing, and managing an annually defined technologybook of work with Regions, Operations and TechnologyPartnering with global shared services utilities that providecentralized tax related services such as FATCA processingRisk & ControlDeveloping andexecuting on a governance framework to continually identify andremediate process risk pointsExecution of due diligenceprogram across central processing hubs and branch locationsImplementation of appropriate MIS, monitoring capabilities, andMCA testsThe ideal candidate should have a provensuccess record in financial services, custody services or taxconsulting.
