Workplace: Hybrid and flexible working available Salary: £40,000Job Description Due to the significant growth, our client is looking for an Assistant Tax Manager or Tax Manager to join their business on a permanent basis in their Exeter office. This is an exciting new role in a highly professional and successful Exeter Tax team and would likely suit a current Assistant Tax Manager or high performing Tax Senior looking for their next career step or an existing Tax Manager who is looking to gain new experiences. The role would offer the opportunity to gain experience of work for non-residents and non-domiciled taxpayers and/or trusts and probate work. What tasks does this role include?Deliver a full range of tax services in compliance with laws and regulations within budget and timeframeBuild relationships and directly interact with clients to provide tax planning and supportSupport our tax team to provide a wide range of tax advisory projectsProvide innovative tax planning across a broad range of taxesReview of tax returns and preparation of complex tax returnsIdentify and mitigate tax risksCoordinate and lead our tax compliance team and take responsibility for developing and training themManage tax provision and tax compliance processes within our Exeter officeAssist in managing financial performance of the tax department.What will you bring to the role? Tax Manager, Assistant Tax Manager or High Performing Tax Senior ExperienceResilient, able to multi-task and work independently / flexiblyAdaptable, organised and conscientiousTakes the initiative, ability to prioritise and meet deadlinesDiscreet, professional and team orientated in approachExcellent knowledge of tax and all types of compliance returnsStrong technical tax knowledge across a broad range of taxesGood report writer and able to communicate across a spectrum of taxesGood working knowledge of general IT Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Social Media programmesExcellent verbal and written communication skills, with proven accuracy and an eye for detailATT or / and CTA qualified Ready to apply?
