All global subsidiaries report to the Group Finance Team, which is responsible for the consolidation and review of such information. The team is split into four areas, Financial Accounting, Management Accounting, Tax & Treasury.As the group's Tax Associate you would not only work closely with the rest of the group tax team to support across all areas of taxes, but you would also have the opportunity to work with our tax colleagues in North America, as well as providing support to the wider group finance team.Offering significant learning and development opportunities, this role would suit somebody with drive, ambition and a can-do attitude.

Key Responsibilities
Assist with the preparation of the UK corporation tax computations, including calculation of capital allowance claims
Calculation of quarterly corporation tax instalment payments
Supporting with the Short-Term Business Visitor data collection process
Initial preparation of PSA calculations for agreement with HMRC
Support with obtaining documentation required for withholding tax purposes and filing of withholding tax returns for FEU reporting
Initial preparation of Country-by-Country reporting information
Support with Company Secretarial duties such as ad-hoc tax documentation requests
Support with the preparation of the UK group VAT return
Support in meeting overseas indirect tax obligations of UK companies, such as the filing of sales and use tax returns and OSS and IOSS returns
Manage information requests as and when required
Support North America tax colleagues and the wider group finance team with ad-hoc tasks
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in calculations, documentation and compliance
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets, knowledge of accounting/tax software would be beneficial but not essential
Strong time management and organisational skills to enable prioritisation of tasks, meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
The ability to work effectively as part of a team, collaborating with colleagues globally
No tax experience required, full training will be provided
