As Tax and Treasury Analyst within our Finance department, you are a vital member of a team dedicated to advancing financial excellence and compliance. Your role involves ensuring meticulous tax compliance and efficient treasury management, contributing to the financial health and stability of our organization.Join Belmond and be part of a legacy of luxury. This is your moment!Primary Responsibilities Include:TAX – for Belmond (globally) and LVMH (in the UK)Assist in the preparation of corporation tax returns for Belmond’s UK businesses.Support the preparation of the quarterly Belmond VAT UK tax return.Handle administrative tasks related to filing of UK tax returns on behalf of other LVMH UK businesses as needed.Provide assistance in preparing UK tax updates to LVMH UK businesses.Support the tax team in dealing with tax authority inquires and audits for corporate tax, VAT, and other taxes for both Belmond and other LVMH UK businesses.Assist with the preparation of Belmond’s annual Transfer Pricing Master File.Aid in managing withholding tax exposure on interest payments from the UK by updating and filing necessary documentation such as HMRC’s Double Tax Treaty Passports.TREASURY – for Belmond (globally)Preparation of treasury reporting obligations to LVMH, including the co-ordination of any audit issues.Support business cash optimisation according to requirements.Ensure intercompany loan documentation is kept up to date.Assist in the implementation of LVMH systems enhance Treasury processes and control.Prepare top-down or bottom-up cashflow forecasts as required.Assist in managing relationships with Belmond’s banks.Support Belmond’s joint ventures’ treasury needs as required.What you should know when applying...the role is generally able to benefit from our current hybrid working policy where team members are expected to attend the office on their Team Day plus two additional days (i.e. 3 days per week in the office and 2 days remotely).it is expected that the application deadline will be 3rd June 2024. A Master of Taxation or related certification(s) will be a plus.Knowledge of treasury management functions such as cash flow forecasting, liquidity management, risk management, and working capital optimization.Confidence in effectively communicating complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders, including senior management, external auditors, tax authorities, and other key stakeholders.Proficiency in using financial software and tools for tax analysis, treasury management, and financial reporting.Experience with accounting software, enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, and financial modelling tools.Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.Ability to stay updated on changing tax laws and regulations.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word is crucial for financial analysis, reporting, and presentation purposes.Fluency in English (spoken and written).
