We’re looking for an experienced recruiter to join our Talent Acquisition team, dedicated to hiring for Velocity Black by Capital One.
Based in our Talent Acquisition team, this recruiter will cover roles with a diverse array of skill sets including concierge, dining, travel, and aviation specialties. What you’ll do Partner closely with our recruiting and compensation teams across the US and UK
Source diverse talent for both immediate demand and future pipelining
Take detailed briefs from hiring managers on role requirements to enable you to source and screen quality candidates
Have informative conversations with potential candidates about Velocity Black by Capital One culture and provide good insight into the role you’re sourcing for
Have the ability and confidence to give immediate feedback to candidates who may not be suitable, ensuring a positive candidate experience, no matter the outcome
Provide an exceptional hiring manager experience
Be part of a team that is helping to shape and define the current and future hiring process and ways of working
Collaborate with peers through contributing at team meetings, generating new ideas and discussing opportunities

What we’re looking for Experience and openness to sourcing and recruiting for all different types of vacancies, particularly in the high volume space
Experience leading and owning oversight of smaller project and process improvement work and collaborating with teammates on larger initiatives
Ability to communicate and influence effectively and with confidence; comfortability speaking with candidates and hiring managers via phone and or zoom calls
High standards of written communication; being clear, concise and accurate when messaging candidates, working with data, providing updates to hiring managers etc.
Strong organisational skills, with a natural sense of urgency and a keen eye for detail
Ability to stay calm and maintain a high standard of work in a fast-paced and overwhelming environment

Where and how you'll work This is a permanent position based in our Nottingham offices. We have a hybrid working model which gives you flexibility to work from our offices and from home. We’re big on collaboration and connection, so you’ll be based in our Nottingham office 3 days a week on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
