At MPB, every employee has the opportunity to make an impact and grow.The Opportunity:We are actively hiring for an internal Systems Support Manager to join our tech team and be the face of IT Systems Support for the business. You will provide a broad range of support for our Brighton colleagues, define and drive the function, and will also directly manage a team of 2 remote colleagues in EU and US respectively.This role would be part of our Technology team, based at our vibrant and friendly Ship Street headquarters in central Brighton.The role is primarily based in-office, with occasional remote working by prior arrangement.Key Responsibilities:As Internal Systems Support Manager at MPB you’ll be responsible for: Leading a global team of System Support Analysts (2) Setting the direction of internal IT systems for our employees and support at MPB Providing direct end user support for company IT hardware and software resources during UK office hours Support and maintenance of internal IT infrastructure and systems

VPN Company Hardware (such as Laptops / Computer) Communications SaaS tools (such as Slack and Gmail) Marketing and finance SaaS tools Meeting room AV equipment
Creating and maintaining documentation of IT Standard Operating Procedures Driving technology decisions and best practices for company information security policies, working under the Head of Delivery and IT Creating documentation for and training company employees on use of company resources and information security policies working with the People and Legal teams. Procurement and administration of company hardware and software licenses, including best practice commercial approach alongside Finance team. Automate our onboarding and offboarding processes, streamlining the experience for new employees. Building budgets for tech spend and working with Finance to get approval for costs Building business cases with Technology Leadership to justify additional budget / IT costs Skills & Qualifications:The ideal candidate for this position will have the following: Experience in people leadership and management Experience providing end-user support with patience and kindness Experience managing OS installations and machine images Strong communication skills and ability to self-manage time Understanding of best practices with information security Experience with Audio-Visual equipment Experience writing scripts An interest in cloud-based infrastructure An interest in computer networking Calm approach and strong problem-solving skills Benefits at MPB:For our full list of benefits, please check out our 'UK Benefits' section of the career page.
