Systems & Network Engineer

This role with have responsibility for day to day management, maintenance and enhancement of internal infrastructure, networks and systems across the business. They need someone who can be proactive identify, plan, setup, configure, troubleshoot and maintain local Edinburgh systems and its interactions with the business worldwide network and systems.
Experience
Experience of configuration of Linux server environments.
Experience of deploying L2 and L3 networks including Cisco and Juniper.
Experience in the following technologies: Cisco Firewall, Cisco VPN, VMware, Symantec Endpoint Protection
Strong operational experience of networking security, VLAN, firewalls etc.
Strong operational experience of network Cisco firewall configuration
SaaS applications such as, Mimecast, MetaCompliance, HubSpot, SF.COM
Strong knowledge of MS O365, SharePoint, and Teams
Continuity planning/disaster recovery processes as it pertains to the network design.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
Please note, although this is a hybrid role, they need someone flexible enough to be in the office whenever is required due to hands on / hardware related duties.
