The Essentials:
Hold an ATCO License (UK CAA / EU 2015/340).
Proficiency in MS Office applications.
Minimum of one (preferably two or more) of the following ratings: ADI, APS, APP, ACS.
Minimum ICAO Aviation English Language Proficiency Level 5 or above.
At least 2 years of operational experience in the ratings held.

Job Application - IT Support Engineer

The purpose of the IT Support Engineer is to play a crucial role in providing technical assistance and support to end-users within Micro Nav. The primary responsibility of the role is to diagnose and resolve software, hardware, and network-related issues to ensure smooth functioning of computer systems and the technology infrastructure.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Initial contact for software and hardware support issues, logging all issues on the helpdesk ticketing system, providing resolution and escalating where required.
User account management including new user setup and equipment preparation.
Asset management and reporting.
Responsible for the generation and maintenance of Virtual Machines and installation of end user software.
Assist in maintaining, administering, and developing the IT Infrastructure in line with business needs.
Maintain and update IT documentation and knowledge base articles.
Working on Project based assignments as and when required.
Technical Requirements
Four years hands on technical experience as a minimum
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Windows desktop and server operating systems.
Knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy Management, and Implementations.
Knowledge of SharePoint administration.
Understanding of security and networking concepts, DNS, DHCP, remote access, VLANs and firewalls.
VMWare ESXI experience
Knowledge or interest in Air Traffic Control or Aviation, experience of software testing in these domains.

Purpose Of Job
To lead the management of designated Customer and internal development projects and communicate project progress to the Key Stakeholders and Senior Micro Nav Management in accordance with the requirements of the Project Plan and Contract. The Project Manager will also manage Customer and project relations throughout the life of the project, manage and deliver projects to approved schedule and budget, and manage bids and tenders across all lines of business.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
To act as Bid Manager for Customer bids and assist in the creation of a fully developed quotation document and fully costed project model
To prepare and present quotation and bid documents, together with costed project models to senior management for review and approval
To provide an initial schedule with bid resource estimates to functional heads to enable them to provide accurate, agreed low level schedules in return
To project manage allocated projects to time and budget expectations
To create a Project Plan including task breakdown, schedule and budget
To liaise with the all lines of business to ensure accuracy of the data in the Project Plan and to achieve a smooth transition from Sales to Projects
To request internal and external resources as necessary in order to achieve tasks identified as part of a project
To maintain the schedule in consultation with the Customer and Micro Nav teams
To measure progress against the Project Plan, Schedule and Budget to update as required.
To obtain formal approval within agreed project criteria for any negative variance to project revenue, profit or schedule
To identify project slippages and to develop recovery strategies to allow the planned events to be achieved
To identify and manage all project risks and to provide mitigation plans, if necessary, in conjunction with the Customer, and Micro Nav Management
To keep all stakeholders aware of any changes to the project timescale and to agree remedial actions
Assist the Financial Controller in the management of financial instruments and the timely issue of invoices against agreed project milestones
Technical Requirements
Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite of tools; Outlook, Word and Excel in particular
Proficient with Microsoft Project or a similar project scheduling software application
Technical information gathering and analysis skills
Strong PC literacy, good overall ICT skills and appreciation of common hardware and software products
Internet proficient and cyber security aware
Education & Experience
Experience/ knowledge of project management techniques and methods; knowledge and application of Project Management methodologies and techniques
Experience of bid management
Basic knowledge of ATC environment is desirable but not essential
Experience of (project based) personnel management
Experience in a customer-facing role
Experience of dealing with internal departments of mixed disciplines and personnel at all levels

As Systems Engineering Team Leader, you will report to the Technical Director and be responsible for performing the day-to-day management of the Systems Engineering activities, processes, and resources within the Company on behalf of the Engineering team.
You will be required to provide input to and oversee the execution of the relevant elements of the Engineering plans to ensure successful project acceptance every time. The Systems Engineering Team Leader will continually improve the quality, effectiveness, and efficiency of the Systems Team activities.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
The Systems Engineering Team Leader will manage, monitor and control of all operational and strategic activities undertaken by the Systems Engineering Team including:
Keeping up to date with market and technological trends
Supporting Sales and Marketing; primarily the provision of technical responses, compliancy responses and estimations.
Resourcing and task allocation for all Systems Team activities
Producing specifications, the formulation of architecture, the approval of solutions and provision of technical guidance and subject matter expertise.
Holding regular One to One reviews with team members to set objectives, manage development plans, monitor performance, and provide appropriate feedback.
Overall responsibility for ensuring compliance with the Quality Management System as it relates to the Systems Engineering processes.
Provision of sufficient ‘quality management information’ (i.e., KPIs) to allow oversight of the departmental activities, including measures of productivity, quality, and schedule adherence.
Driving a culture of continual improvement through lessons learnt and business best practice.
Identification and resolution of capability or knowledge gaps within the overall team skill set/knowledgebase.
Qualifications and Experience Required
Degree level or equivalent.
5+ years’ experience in Systems Engineering discipline.
Experience/knowledge of Systems Engineering practices, processes, methods, and tools; including requirements engineering and solution architecting.
Engagement with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
Deriving requirements on system components, to fulfil the customer requirements.
Preparing detailed requirements specifications to control the development and testing of software.
Experience/knowledge of ATC/ATM environment.
Experience/knowledge of complete Software Development Lifecycle. Both Agile and Waterfall.
Strong in the use of MS Office tools and good overall IT skills and appreciation of common hardware and software products.
Understanding of requirements management tools.
Experience of software application development; lifecycle, processes, and management.
Able to travel overseas.
Experience/knowledge of ATC operations and training and general aviation.
Familiarity with the ISO 9001 and TickIT quality standards and their application.
