This leading organisation have won multiple awards, most recently been named as an Award winner (Gold Award) in the MoD Defence Employer Recognition Scheme!As a Systems Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role within the Project and Systems Engineering function, lending your expertise across all phases from bid to full development lifecycle. We can share more details with you about the organisation, including the benefits package, when you apply.What will I be doing?You'll work together with the Engineering Project Lead (EPL) to complete project engineering obligations, carrying out delegated EPL responsibilities for the project packages, and making sure that delivery is on time and in line with budgets.You'll help to develop innovative technical solutions for complex engineering challenges, following Systems Engineering processes to meet customer requirements. You'll also provide technical guidance across various project work packages, working together with system, hardware, firmware, and software architects to ensure design consistency and excellence.We'll look to you to plan, coordinate and present at design reviews, presenting to senior management and customers for successful outcomes, communicate complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.What do you need from me?Important: Due to the level of security clearance required for this role, you'll need to be eligible to obtain UK EYES ONLY clearance, and therefore be a Sole UK National.You're an experienced Systems Engineer, with an understanding of the V-Model and associated processes and lifecycle. You may be degree qualified in Physics or an Engineering based subject or have the equivalent level of experience.You're comfortable developing high quality requirements and creating a fully compliant systems design, and are familiar using and reviewing high quality technical documents.We're looking for someone with knowledge and experience of System Engineering practices, methodologies, processes, techniques and technology trends.
