Systems Architect

Introduction
Our client is a leader in the Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance (ISR) domain and they are looking for a Technical Leader to design and architect solutions for the Defence industry.
They are looking for someone who can gather requirements and work across the whole systems lifecycle. You will need to be an excellent communicator as you will work very closely with the client.
This is a hybrid role with 3-4 days per week on site.
Key responsibilities
Work closely with the customer to gather requirements and then manage the requirements through the whole lifecycle
Develop architectural definitions and plans, and perform systems design tasks
Ensure that designs can be implemented, tested and validation again customer requirements
Provide in-service support and implement any mid-life design changes
Mentor junior engineers and lead multi-disciplinary teams
Be the technical SME within ISR
Skills & experience
Team leadership and experience mentoring junior engineers
Experience working across the whole systems lifecycle
Experience eliciting high and low level requirements
Experience within ISR, ideally C4ISR is ideal, otherwise experience across SIGINT, GEOINT, IMINT, Military Communications or Electronic Warfare would be suitable
Either Chartered or working towards Chartership
