Harvey Nash's Edinburgh-based client are looking for a Systems Administrator to join their growing team.
THE ROLE
It's a really interesting opportunity as the role covers BAU network support, an element of desktop support, but predominantly you'll be working closely with the Engineering Team to aid them in the swift delivery of their projects.
They're looking for someone adaptable who is able to turn their hand to each of these areas.
ABOUT YOU
This role is perfect for someone with a strong background in Networking, SysAdmin and Desktop Support who is capable of working independently and can prioritise, is adaptable in their duties and has great communication skills in order to work with different teams.
Technical Skills
Physical Networking: physical servers, racks building, switches, routers, cabling etc.
Virtual Networking: network design, wireless networks, patching, routers, network security, firewalls, VLAN, VMware
Cloud: AWS (required) Azure and GCP (beneficial)
Microsoft: Office 365, SharePoint, Team
Applications: Security Awareness, Mail Management, internal Engineering softwares
Other: Microsoft OS, Linux, system and application upgrade

This is a hybrid position, 2 days a week in the Edinburgh office, within regular core office hours with some necessity to complete IT tasks outside of core hours to avoid disruption to the workforce.
