Sellick Partnership is currently assisting in the recruitment of a Systems Accountant for a business in Newcastle on a permanent basis. The company is looking for a Systems Accountant or Management Accountant with a passion for improving systems.

Responsibilities of the Systems Accountant include:

• Overseeing the day-to-day operation and maintenance of the finance system and other software
• Project managing finance systems changes and upgrades
• Maintaining and developing financial and management reporting systems and procedures to give efficient financial control subject to relevant regulations
• Ensuring data accuracy and integrity within the finance system
• Ensuring amendments to system and procedures approved and documented;
• Identifying areas for financial process improvement and automation

The ideal candidate will have:

• Fully qualified or part qualified accountant
• Excellent Excel skills
• Excellent communication skills
