Because we know that, when we work together, we can make a huge difference to bring lasting improvements to vulnerable children's lives.A bit about the roleWe have an exciting opportunity for a Systemic Psychotherapist for our Gwent service to represent our goals and visions.Our Early intervention service is a Psychological led model, which works towards achieving better and long-term outcomes for children, young people and families, focusing on intensive support, co-ordinated family support, therapeutic support & bespoke packages for families in the proximity.We provide our services in a variety of formats, such as interventions in a 1:1 environment, in the family home, and therapy sessions in various locations around Gwent.You'll be working closely with the Clinical Psychologist and Practice Manager to examine, develop and improve psychotherapeutic outcomes for families & children.How you'll help to create brighter futuresYou'll be leading and assisting with the development and maintenance of the service packages, psychotherapy cases, management of complex cases and dedication to better outcomes. You'll also be:Providing a high level of responsive psychotherapy in a systemic formatWorking in an outreach, community-based position and visiting families in their homesProfessionally supporting the team with systemic ideas and developmentsReviewing children and families cases and records on a regular basis to further gain the understanding of a best fit packageMaintaining stakeholder relationships with management and external providers/agenciesBy being able to present evidence of family needs and to then endeavour to fulfil those needsLet's talk about youHold a MSc qualification in Systemic PsychotherapyBe registered with the United Kingdom Council for PsychotherapyYou'll be able to confidently discuss in depth, models of systemic workExperience of working in a psychotherapeutic backgroundExperience of working directly with families and children in the communityAccess to a car would be advantageous, due to being a community based role, travelling would be requiredGood to knowApplication ProcessPlease note we are unable to offer visa sponsorship for this role.There are five sections to complete: Personal Details, CV, Supporting Statement & Information, Equality & Diversity, Submission & Declaration.Talent PoolWe know talent when we see it.
