Systems Engineer - Windows Patch Management - Hybrid - 2 days a week in our Canning Town office.
Systems Engineer - Remote Systems Support

Telent is currently recruiting for a Systems Engineer to join the Transport side of their business - this is a permanent position where you will be based ideally a couple of days a week from our office near Canning Town.
The system engineer will work in a small team that supports the project and maintenance teams, delivering work across London Underground and Network Rail systems. This is a great opportunity to be inovled in our wider systems.
We would be delighted to hear from you if you have the following experience:
Windows Patch Management (WSUS)
Active Directory (AD) and Group Policies
Experience in designing, building, testing and maintaining Windows Server architectures
Firmware
Unix
Cyber Security knowledge
Role Profile:
The role will be based within our Rail team working closely with other systems engineers.
Supporting clients and internally with Windows Patch Management and AD & Group Policies.
Supporting the maintenance and upgrade of IT infrastructure, including Windows systems, AD domains, Servers, and SQL databases across our internal remote systems and supporting and across our customer sites.
Working with the team and customers to support our remote toolsets and monitoring tools for internal and external systems
Typical Deliverables:
Providing support with the team to support and enhance our remote system's capabilities and monitoring
Provide a technical interface to the client in regards to Patching as well as the wider systems
Manage escalations to other departments within telent or external 3rd Line support
Complete or provide support on system changes and upgrades
Perform reviews of proposed system changes and upgrades
Assist with the delivery and implementation of system improvement projects in line with the Change Management procedure
Business Operations Skills - Qualifications:
HND or above in an engineering/Computer discipline
Microsoft Server Certification
Cisco CCNA

Maintain a flexible attitude to the tasks assigned and attention to detail
