Responsibilities
Analyze user requirements and system specifications, particularly in the field of Petroleum Engineering.
Design and develop software applications that meet the needs of the company's Petroleum Engineering department.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of systems and data.
Maintain and troubleshoot software applications, ensuring their optimal performance.
Provide technical support and training to end-users to ensure effective system utilization.
Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in petroleum engineering software.
Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Petroleum Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
At least 8 years of experience as a System Analyst in Petroleum Engineering, Drilling Engineering or similar role in the petroleum industry.
Strong knowledge of petroleum engineering concepts and processes.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, or Java.
Experience in software development and database management.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
