Splash Stars are currently recruiting a qualified Swimming teachers to join our small friendly team based across Bolton and Whitefield.
We are looking for a level 2 STA or ASA qualified teacher, BPS qualified is also a bonus we can however support you in undertaking this qualification for the right candidate.
If you have a passion for the next generation and an infinity with water, you could be part of our team of Swimming Teachers and help give people of all ages a valuable life skill. We are a small family feel swim school with a positive and fun ethos.
Successful applicants who wish to undertake additional qualifications will receive funding support to help spread the cost of the qualification, which can be repaid via your wages .
We have a range of hours available across weekdays and weekends.
We are looking for applicants who are:
A competent swimmer
A good communicator (verbal and non-verbal)
A good motivator (supportive and able to give feedback)
Approachable and patient in nature
Imaginative
Willing to learn and commit to intensive training
Previous experience teaching experience preferred but newly qualified are welcome to apply as we can support. If you have not yet undertaken any qualifications please see our trainee position.
You will undertake training alongside our team for 3 weeks, we can also assist you in taking additional qualification, should you wish to. Once you have undertaken our training , you will be apart of one of our Teaching Teams working with a Lead Teacher to support you in your day to day role.

Working pattern:
This role is offered on an employed basis. With the following available
13.5 hour contract
Tuesday 15:40 - 18:10 - 2.5 hours
Wednesday 15:40 - 18:10 - 2.5 hours
Thursday 18:25 - 20:25 - 2 hours
Friday 18:25 - 20:25 - 2 hours
Admin hours - Tuesday 9:00 - 11:00 (can be flexible) - 3 hours
Plus on call - 4-5 days a month paid at £10 per on call
Rate of pay:
£16 - £18 per hour teaching rate and £11.50 for admin & set up rate, with pay increase for length of service.
