What are the day to day duties and learning opportunities?
Support strategic initiatives around sustainability to the commercial team
Provide support to commercial teams at customer meetings to present VWTS' sustainability contribution and differentiation
Support the sales and leadership teams responsible for meeting the sustainability goals
Evaluate trends of the industry through sustainability reports, governmental policies and U.N. directives.
Support sustainability improvement in all emission scopes for prospects, customers and VWTS
Collaborate with other assigned sustainability and value stakeholders across EMEA
Collate and present sustainability data for the demonstration of regional performance that aligns with Veolia’s corporate initiatives and multi faceted performance goals.
Research and provide insight into the customer sustainability goals and value statements of large deals with customer's sustainability goals
Assist with the collation of data to assist internal and external stakeholders in understanding the sustainability impact of VWTS services, products and projects
Share best practices on sustainability projects and savings
Track and consolidate sustainability contribution of UK&I and per individual area using the designated reporting tools
Assist the development and management of data to support sustainability projects, successes and reports helping the teams to develop their sustainability mindset
Support the connection of sustainability and digitalisation in close cooperation with the digital team ensuring the utilisation of the designated InSIght analytics tools
What background would be ideal in this role?
Preferred: Environmental / sustainability / energy engineer
Alternative: Chemistry or Biology background with relevant experience towards environmental / sustainability
Fluent in English (verbal and written).
Willingness to travel within the UK, Ireland region to meet the teams and customers
Willingness to travel through Europe and wider area for tailored Graduate Workshops and Networking
