The role:
Brompton certified as a B Corporation in 2023 and is working to continually improve its impact ready for recertification in 2026. Brompton’s sustainability strategy includes Culture, Planet, Human Rights and Activism. The Sustainability Project Coordinator will play a vital role in implementing Brompton’s sustainability strategy globally. They will inspire and empower the wider Brompton family to deliver on annual priorities.
The Sustainability Project Coordinator reports to Brompton’s Head of Sustainability. They will also work with colleagues across many different departments. This role will focus on improving and implementing Brompton’s human rights programmes with suppliers. This role also includes responsibilities for sustainability data collection and reporting across all parts of Brompton’s strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
Sustainability reporting - 50% of time
Support the Head of Sustainability to deliver Brompton’s Sustainability strategy (Culture, Planet, Human Rights, Activism) across Brompton Bicycle globally.Manage data collection, analysis and reporting on sustainability metrics including: packaging, waste, water, energy, carbon emissions, community activities and supplier sustainability.Prepare content for annual sustainability report including progress, case studies and data disclosure, adopting best practices and assurances.Work closely with internal stakeholders to report on progress against Brompton’s B Corp recertification in 2026. Build effective partnerships with suppliers to build transparent reporting and target setting.Work closely with purchasing, quality, manufacturing, design, and parts and accessories, teams to reduce.Create content for internal communications to build awareness across the business.
Human rights – 50% of time
Identify, monitor, and address emerging issues in ethical trade and human rights.To lead, manage and improve the compliance with Brompton’s Ethical Code of Conduct.Set clear expectations for suppliers, factories, and third-party auditors per the company’s strategy, objectives, and policies.Working closely and effectively with third-party auditors to ensure a robust auditing programme, reviewing the audit reports and corrective action plans.Managing remediation and corrective action plans against time-bound deadlines.Develops short-term & long-term dept. objectives for the key sourcing regions to train suppliers and factories- building their capacity in human rights.Who you are:

Required and Desired Experience:
Experience in a social or environmental oriented role.Ability to manage and report on data in a consistent reliable way.Experience managing internal stakeholders and working with multiple teams.Knowledge of human rights due diligence.Proficient MS Excel skills capturing and recording important data, using shortcuts and formula functions, building charts and graphs, sorting and filtering data, and utilizing pivot tables.Knowledge of environmental issues is desirable.Project management experience desirable.
