We’re ambitious, we’re passionate and we’re brave - always looking for ways to grow, improve and be the best we can be!Role Summary:The Sustainability Officer will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing our corporate sustainability strategy. This individual will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for improvement, set ambitious sustainability goals, and drive initiatives that align with our values and objectives.Develop a comprehensive sustainability strategy that integrates environmental, social and governance (ESG) principles into our business operationsEstablish ambitious sustainability goals in alignment with industry standards, regulatory requirements and stakeholder expectationsIdentify opportunities to reduce our environmental impact across all aspects of our operations, including energy consumption, waste management, water usage and supply chain logisticsEngage with internal and external stakeholders to gather input, build partnerships, and communicate our sustainability effortsProvide training and educational resources to employees to raise awareness of sustainability issues and empower them to contribute to our sustainability goalsEnsure accurate and transparent reporting of sustainability metrics, in compliance with relevant regulations and frameworksMonitor progress towards sustainability goals, conduct regular assessments, and implement continuous improvement initiatives to drive innovation and efficiencyIdentify and mitigate sustainability-related risks, such as regulatory changes, supply chain disruptions, and reputational risksAchieve BCorp certificationExperience, Qualifications & Skills:Proven experience in corporate sustainability and ESG reportingPassion for sustainability and a commitment to driving positive change within the CompanyPrevious experience with LEED or BCorp certifications (preferable but not essential)Strong understanding of environmental regulations, industry standards, and best practicesExcellent analytical skills and ability to translate data into actionable insightsExceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levelsProject management experienceWhat We Offer:A salary up to £35,000 (dependant on experience & working hours)Full-time and part-time options availableHybrid working - 2 days a week in the office (SP1 3TB)25 days of holiday per yearYour birthday off (paid)4 x salary life assuranceCompany pension£500 towards your wellbeing each yearHealthcare, including 24/7 GP advice and a mental health helpline.Discounts at hundreds of brands you know & loveEmployee assistance programInterested or want to know more?
