Position Overview:
As the Sustainability Manager, you will play a pivotal role in spearheading their
sustainability efforts, working collaboratively with various departments to integrate
sustainable practices into all aspects of their operations. You will have the opportunity to lead impactful projects, implement sustainable strategies, and foster a culture of environmental stewardship throughout the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement comprehensive sustainability strategies aligned with the company's vision and goals.
Conduct thorough assessments of their current operations and identify areas for improvement in environmental performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate sustainability principles into product development, manufacturing processes, supply chain
management, and other key areas.
Stay informed about emerging trends, technologies, and regulations related to sustainability, and provide recommendations for adaptation.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in environmental science, sustainability, engineering, business, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
Proven experience 2 years in sustainability role
Strong understanding of sustainability principles, practices, and standards, with a demonstrated track record of implementing successful sustainability
initiatives.
Excellent project management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive results in a dynamic environment.
Effective communication and stakeholder engagement abilities, with experience presenting to diverse audiences and influencing change at all levels of an organisation.
