Job Description
Job Title: Sustainability Assistant/Lead
Location: Hull, United Kingdom
Salary: £40,000 - £55,000 per annum

Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with project teams to develop and implement sustainability strategies for construction projects, including BREEAM assessment and certification.
Conduct sustainability assessments and audits to identify opportunities for improvement and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Provide guidance and support to project managers and site teams on sustainable construction practices, materials, and technologies.
Monitor and report on key sustainability metrics, including energy efficiency, waste reduction, and carbon emissions, to track progress and identify areas for optimization.
Engage with stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and regulatory authorities, to promote a culture of sustainability and foster partnerships for innovative solutions.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainable Development, Engineering, or a related field. Additional qualifications or certifications in BREEAM assessment and ESG practices are highly desirable.
Proven experience in sustainability roles within the construction industry, with a strong understanding of BREEAM standards and sustainable building practices.
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret data and identify trends to inform decision-making.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
A proactive mindset and a passion for driving positive change towards a more sustainable future.
