Our client is looking for a Sustainability Consultant to join their leading award winning multi-disciplinary consultancy. The role offers the successful candidate the opportunity to work on a wide range of large projects within the residential, mixed-use, commercial, industrial, and educational sectors. Sustainability Consultant Requirements:
* BSc/MSc degree in Sustainability, Energy, Engineering, Architecture, Construction or similar
* Relevant experience in a similar role
* Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
* Understanding of Low Carbon and Sustainable Design and London Plan Energy Policy
* Qualified Part L Assessor (SAP/SBEM)
* Qualified BREEAM New Construction and BREEAM Refurbishment & Fit-out Assessor
* Ability to use sustainability software such as IES:VE
* Brilliant time management and organisational skills
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team Sustainability Consultant Duties:
* Build client relationships and liaise with multidisciplinary design teams
* Undertake overheating simulations and present report findings
* Develop project sustainability design proposals to the project team and client
* Complete project assessments including Part L (SAP, SBEM), BREEAM, HQM, PassiveHaus
* Assess project designs for BREEAM compliance and recording evidence
* Undertake energy surveys of buildings
