Job Description for Sustainability and Environmental Health & Safety Advisor:

A long standing Main contractor working on commercial projects is seeking a Sustainability and Environmental Health & Safety Advisor for their West Midlands region. This role involves developing, implementing, and managing sustainability and EHS programs, ensuring compliance with regulations, and promoting safe and sustainable practices across projects.

Key Responsibilities for Sustainability and Environmental Health & Safety Advisor:

• Develop and implement sustainability strategies
• Ensure compliance with EHS regulations
• Conduct site inspections and audits
• Deliver EHS training programs
• Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions
• Liaise with regulatory bodies

Qualifications for Sustainability and Environmental Health & Safety Advisor:

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role within construction, ideally on industrial projects
• Knowledge of environmental regulations and EHS standards
• Relevant certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) preferred
• Bream and Social Value experience
