Location –sites will be between Northolt and Greenford

Duration –till the end of the year

Start date – ASAP

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Surveyor to work on a contract term. The client is requiring a Surveyor on a rail infrastructure project, the company is a market leader and involved with major projects across the United Kingdom. This will be a great opportunity to gain experience with a Tier 1 contractor and develop yourself further.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Able to carryout line and level survey
• Able to carry out 3D prism surveys
• Use of digital level and total station (Leica instruments)
• Ability to process survey data and submit the same day to the engineering team
• CSCS card holders
• Ensure the Inspection and Test Plans, and Quality Check Sheets are completed as soon as the checks can be completed.

• Setting out and surveying.
• Write and Approve method statements and risk assessments and ensure they are being followed throughout the works.
• Checking design drawings and reporting any issues or inconsistencies.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Worked on heavy civil projects.
• Confident at setting out on site
• Previous Tier 1 contractor experience is an ideal.
• Preference working on highways and/or rail projects.
• Knowledge of reinforced concrete structures is beneficial.
• CSCS Card.
• Confident at setting out on site
• Hold a degree in Civil Engineering or equal experience.
