Neo Recruitment is assisting our client, one of the world's largest independent offshore and onshore survey providers, in their search for a Surveyor based in the Central Belt of Scotland. Our client offers a wide range of survey, positioning, and data management services. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering topographical and utility surveys within their region. Ideally, the successful candidate will be multi-skilled and have experience in surveys such as topographical, utilities, setting out, and measured building surveys.



Responsibilities:



- Conduct predominantly Topographic, Utilities, and Dimensional Control Surveys.

- Process survey information to a high standard using LSS, AutoCAD, Trimble Business Centre, Leica Cyclone, Register 360 software.

- Operate Total Stations, GNSS equipment, Laser Scanners, Ground Penetrating Radar, and Radio Detection Equipment, etc.

- Carry out all company business professionally, liaising with clients and reporting to the Geomatics Project Manager.

- Supervise Geospatial Assistants and collaborate with Surveyors and Senior Surveyors.

- Ensure maintenance and upkeep of all surveying equipment and vehicles.

- Process documents and provide daily updates on site survey activities.

- Comply with Health & Safety standards and Company ISO Standards and Procedures.

- Understand project materials, technical drawings, specifications, and commercial terms necessary for project execution.

- Oversee project execution, including field surveys, office processing, and deliverables.

- Identify and mitigate potential technical, commercial, and QHSE risks for assigned projects.

- Administer and manage specific project tasks.

- Conduct site and client visits as required.



Requirements:



- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in the Geospatial sector.

- Proficient in using survey instrumentation and processing software.

- Team-oriented with a positive attitude and the ability to work well with others.

- Essential proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

- Ability to perform tasks with a high degree of accuracy and precision.

- Capable of working independently and within teams.

- Willingness to work away from home and overseas as required.

- Possession of a valid driver's licence.

- Possession of a valid passport without status or restrictive conditions that preclude travel to and work in countries where the company routinely operates.
