We are currently seeking a dynamic Supported Housing Officer to join our bustling and supportive team in the vibrant area of Alveston, South Gloucestershire! As a Supported Housing Officer, you will be at the forefront of delivering psychologically informed support to vulnerable adults in an 18-bed self-contained property.

You will provide tailored 1-2-1 support to 12 residents aged 18 to 65 who are at risk of homelessness.
Your role is essential in helping residents build the confidence and skills needed to sustain their tenancy and secure permanent housing to live independently.
You will monitor and manage rent accounts, establish trusting relationships, deliver welfare benefits and budgeting advice, assist in identifying suitable accommodation, and promote educational, training, and employment opportunities.
Hours of Work: Full Time, 36.5 hours per week from Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 5.00pm Supported Housing Officer Requirements: Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, and the ability to tailor them to individual needs.
The ability to work in partnership with multiple agencies, including statutory ones, to improve outcomes.
Empathy for the causes of homelessness and the challenges vulnerable individuals face.
Proficiency in maintaining accurate records using Microsoft Office packages like Excel, Word, Outlook, and other systems.
Supported Housing Officer Benefits: A starting salary of £25,000.
