Supported Accommodation Manager

Location: Tameside
Salary: £32,323.20 - £33,820.80 per year (40 hours per week)
Additional Benefits: On-call allowance, potential monthly commissions based on occupancy levels

Role Overview: As the Supported Accommodation Manager, you will ensure the highest standards of care and support for our young residents. You will lead a dedicated team, manage daily operations, and create a safe, nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

* Oversee daily operations, ensuring a safe and caring environment.

* Lead and support the care team, conducting supervisions, probations, and appraisals.

* Develop and implement tailored support and safety plans.

* Conduct regular assessments and reviews, collaborating with professionals, families, and agencies.

* Foster a positive and inclusive environment, promoting empowerment and engagement.

* Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

* Handle crisis situations effectively, ensuring safeguarding procedures are followed.

Requirements:

* Diploma Level 3/4 in Children, Young People, and Families Practitioner.

* Working towards Level 5 in Children, Young People, and Families Manager (or willing to undertake).

* Minimum 2 years’ experience in children’s social care or supported accommodation.

* Strong leadership and management skills.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

* Compassionate, empathetic, and committed to improving young people’s lives.

* Organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities.
