Learning Disability Support Worker Haverfordwest
Are you an experienced support worker who is enthusiastic, resilient, and driven to enrich
and make a difference in the lives of other people?
Vetro Social Care are excited to be recruiting Childrens and Adults Learning Disability
Support Workers for services in the Haverfordwest and surrounding areas with immediate
starts.
We are working exclusively with a sector-leading provider of specialist services for children
and adults with complex needs associated with autism, that has over 15 years of experience
of supporting the needs of individuals with learning disabilities.
Our client has six services nestled across the picturesque region of Pembrokeshire and
require temporary support workers on a daily basis. We are seeking compassionate support
workers that are eager for an exciting opportunity to become valued members of Team
Vetro, that are dedicated to making an impact to the residents within these services.

Overview:
● Title: Learning Disability Support Worker
● Pay: £13.38 - £26.76 per hour inclusive of holiday pay
● Location: Haverfordwest
● Hours: Flexible pattern available, pick and choose the shifts you want every week.
12-hour shift pattern including days and waking nights

The main responsibilities of a support worker includes:
● Ensuring physical and emotional needs are met through a supportive and caring
environment;
● Supporting residents during recreational activities within the services and out in the
community
● Promoting independence and celebrating achievements and milestones of the
residents;
● Keeping accurate records of all activities, progress, and any incidents should they
arise;
● General housekeeping duties depending on the service and it's requirements

We are looking for people who care and have:
● A minimum of 6 months experience working within a care setting in the UK
● A compassionate and caring nature
● Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships
● Resilience and patience when faced with challenges
● A willingness to learn and follow guidance from the team
● Flexibility to work on a shift basis, including weekends and occasional night shifts
