Job Title: Support Worker
Location: Bishop Auckland, North East
Pay rate: £15 per hour on weekdays & £16 per hour at weekends
Job Type: Full-time, 40 hours per week
Shift and schedule: Monday to Friday 08.00 to 16.00
Priority Recruitment are excited to present this brand-new opportunity for a Support Worker in the Bishop Auckland area.
This is an excellent opportunity to help support a gentleman in his late 60s to implement rehabilitation programmes from the multidisciplinary teams, and help support him in his own home and local community.
 
Salary & Benefits:

 Client and Role:

• The client is in his mid to late 60s and has an acquired brain injury. 

• The client requires a Support Worker to assist the rehab programme and the client to develop more independence.

• The client is mobile with a walking frame and needs verbal prompts, guidance and minimal assistance to get around.

• Some personal care is involved.

Successful Applicant:

• Experience working with clients living with brain injuries.
• Must be a driver with own vehicle.
• Enthusiastic and keen to how to help the client progress.
• Committed to caring.
