Position: Autism Support Specialist
Responsibilities:
Provide support and assistance to individuals with Autism in various settings.
Develop and implement personalised support plans tailored to the unique needs of each individual.
Foster communication and social skills development through targeted interventions.
Collaborate with families, caregivers, and a multidisciplinary team to ensure a holistic approach to support.
Create a safe and inclusive environment that promotes independence and self-advocacy.
Stay informed about the latest research and best practices in Autism support.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Special Education, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Experience working with individuals on the Autism spectrum.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for making a positive impact.
Ability to adapt and think creatively to address individual needs.
