We are currently recruiting for a *FULL TIME SUPPORT WORKER *to work with a client who has a spinal cord injury living in their own home in the West Kingsdown area of Sevenoaks in Kent.

Our client has a keen interest in trainers and the latest fashion in clothes, they are also interested in football and horse racing. This could be the ideal role for anyone with similar interests. Also not to have a fear or allergy to dogs.

You will need to have fluent English language skills, both written and verbal to be able to communicate with our client and other professionals.

*Previous experience working with Spinal Cord Injury clients would be preferable but not essential as full training will be given.*

*Our client will be relocating to the Tonbridge area in the near future*

Support Worker Duties:

You will be working within an energetic and dedicated team on a rota basis.

You will be working on a 2:1 basis with our client to ensure their complex personal care and welfare needs are met.

You must have an enthusiastic personality and positive outlook on life, a caring attitude with the flexibility to work shifts as part of a team on a day & night basis.

Hours of Work:

full time hours - 144 hours per month to include both days & nights on a rota basis

*Day shift 8am - 10pm*

*Night shift 10pm - 8am (Waking & Sleeping nights)*

*Monday to Sunday (On a rota basis)*

Rates of Pay:

£14.50 per hour – Day shift (Monday-Friday) upon successful completion of competencies and training

£15.50 per hour – Day shift (Saturday-Sunday), upon successful completion of competencies and training

£16.50 per hour – Waking night shift (Monday-Friday), upon successful completion of competencies and training

£17.50 per hour – Waking night shift (Saturday-Sunday), upon successful completion of competencies and training

£10.00 per hour - Sleeping night shift (Monday - Sunday) (7pm to 11pm Waking night rate applies)

£11.44 per hour – Training rate
