Supply Planner

We are seeking a proactive and flexible Supply Planner to manage the supply planning of allocated brands for the global supply of manufactured items. This role demands the ability to handle ambiguous information on multiple items, which can change frequently at short notice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the supply planning of manufactured items sourced globally.
  • Prepare supply plans, raise purchase orders, and follow through with contract manufacturers and co-packers proactively.
  • Minimize obsolescence and maximize customer service using SAP and other information sources.
  • Monitor stock levels versus inventory targets and work proactively with the Supply Chain Planning Manager to optimize inventory through distribution centres.
  • Serve as the key point of contact for products in your allocated brands, acting as an Ambassador for C&D.
  • Collaborate with Project Buyers and the Project Management team to integrate new products into the supply plan timely.
  • Ensure regular housekeeping of MRP lists on SAP.
  • Input data and generate reports on SAP.
  • Own and manage the abnormal demand tracker, processing accepted abnormal demands for your brands within SAP.
  • Request P2P transfers of finished goods when needed.
  • Create and manage Excel spreadsheets and PowerPoint presentations at an intermediate/advanced level.
  • Liaise with various departments including Customer Fulfilment, Sales, Project Management, and Marketing.
  • Actively participate in monthly supply meetings, including content preparation and taking meeting minutes.
  • Support and reinforce the S&OP process by communicating benefits and achievements to stakeholders, producing clear action plans, and ensuring follow-ups.

Regular Duties:

  • Issue supply plans to contract manufacturers, place replenishment orders, and ensure timely delivery.
  • Keep all information updated on SAP and communicate with key stakeholders.
  • Work to minimize obsolescence and maximize customer service.
  • Monitor stock levels vs. inventory targets.
  • Integrate new products into the supply plan.
  • Maintain housekeeping of MRP lists on SAP.
  • Manage abnormal demand tracker and process demands in SAP.
  • Prepare and deliver Excel spreadsheets and PowerPoint presentations.
  • Liaise across the organization with various departments.
  • Participate in monthly supply meetings and support the S&OP process.

Education and Prior Work Experience Required:

  • Higher-level general background education.
  • Proficient in SAP.
  • Knowledge and expertise in MRP list management in SAP.
  • Experience in placing purchase orders on SAP and following up with suppliers.
  • Highly numerate with excellent communication skills in written and spoken English. French speaking is an advantage.
  • Proven ability to deal effectively with people at all organizational levels.
  • Experience in a commercial or supply planning role.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • High level of computer literacy, particularly with spreadsheets, databases, and presentations.
  • Experience in a multi-national organization with cross-border team working.

Additional Information:

  • Some responsibilities will be shared with another Supply Planner, with specific brands allocated to each.
  • International travel may be required.
