Inside / Outside IR35: Inside IR35Salary: Umbrella £28.41I am currently recruiting on behalf of a Luxury Automotive OEM who are seeking a Supply Chain Planning Specialist to join their team. Job DescriptionAs a Supply Chain Planning Specialist, your main responsibilities are:The Clients' Trading Division is a unique team within the business that has a core function to buy, move and sell products around the world in support of the Clients' global manufacturing activities.The Trading Division Imports function enables the business to import Chinese & Indian produced components for use in our UK and European manufacturing facilities.As an Imports Outbound Analyst, you'll be the daily point of contact for the Clients' plants.You'll ensure all plant deliverables are managed and parts are shipped to the Clients' plant or Deconsolidation Centres on time, in full and within targets.This is a customer-facing role primarily responsible for managing the relationship with TD Imports customers.The outbound team oversees the operations process and is critical to facilitating a seamless handoff of customer demand through the E2E process as enabler to an efficient outbound process through accurate control and data alignmentQualifications / Skills RequiredSAP Knowledge & able to useStrong analytical and MS Excel SkillsAbility to quickly understand and challenge Logistics processesThe positions requires knowledge of both inbound, outbound, customer and central TD processes and a large degree of interaction with all teams in both daily operationsPrevious experience in Material Planning / Logistics, preferably from within Motor Manufacturing / FMCG or Supply Base IndustryExperience of Customer Relationship ManagementGood problem solving techniques and understanding of lean manufacturing principalsGood understanding of production processesWhy work through Contech's?
