Our client is seeking a talented Supply Chain Manager to join their team and drive procurement strategies that support their continued success and growth.
As a Supply Chain Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in managing the procurement of goods and services critical to project delivery. You will lead a dedicated team responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and ensuring timely delivery, ultimately contributing to the company's overall success.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the procurement team to ensure compliant and timely delivery of goods and services.
Foster strong relationships with suppliers and utilize contractual tools to protect the company's interests.
Develop and execute cost-saving plans while ensuring adherence to procurement processes.
Collaborate with the Quality function to maintain supplier approvals and uphold product requirements.
Drive the communication and implementation of the company's supply chain strategy within your portfolio of suppliers.
Develop supplier capability and onboard new suppliers aligned with the supply chain strategy.
Provide essential information to support the Sales team during bidding processes.
Candidate Requirements:
Proven experience in procurement within manufacturing/engineering environments.
Ability to source from Bills of Materials or Scopes of Work.
Demonstrated success in developing and executing cost reduction projects.
Strong negotiation skills and commercial acumen.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages.
Leadership experience preferred.
Previous work in safety-critical industries desirable.
Familiarity with ERP platforms advantageous.
