Job Overview:
The role Supply Chain Manager is responsibility for the management of all supply chain matters. The role will lead our supply chain operations, ensuring the efficient flow of goods and materials from suppliers to customers, both nationally and internationally, with a predominant focus on cost optimisation.
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute strategic plans to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the supply chain, including procurement, inventory management, logistics, and distribution.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as operations, assets, sales, and finance teams, to forecast demand, identify supply chain constraints, and implement solutions to improve performance and reduce costs.
Cultivate and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors, negotiating contracts and strategic framework agreements to ensure timely delivery of quality materials at competitive prices, whilst maintaining and managing an ISO 9001 compliant AVL.
Support Asset Management Team with inventory management activities, including monitoring base stock levels, conducting regular audits of company warehousing, supporting inventory optimising supply strategies to minimise wastage and low value ordering.
Manage transportation and logistics operations, selecting carriers, negotiating contracts, and optimising routes to reduce shipping costs and improve delivery times.
Maintain and manage both UK and International customs clearances, ensuring compliant and accurate import and export records.
Manage the Goods-In Warehouse ensuring prompt and accurate receipt of goods. Ensuring the department meets the business needs to prepare goods for shipment to re-supply company assets as required.
Implement robust systems and tools to track and analyse key performance metrics, leveraging data insights to identify opportunities for process improvement and cost savings.
Lead and develop a high-performing supply chain team, providing guidance, coaching, and support to foster professional growth and achieve departmental goals.
Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory requirements, and emerging technologies in supply chain management, identifying opportunities to enhance the company's competitive advantage.
Champion and monitor, Aratellus internal Business Management System, with particular focus on the Asset Management & Procurement spheres.
Collaborate with and assist the HSEQ department to ensure that all operations within Aratellus warehousing globally are compliant with internal requirements

Experience Essential:
Experience in supply chain management, preferably in renewables or a related sector with exposure to subsea operations.
Demonstrated experience in procurement, inventory management, logistics coordination, and supplier relationship management.
Proven track record of successfully managing complex supply chains and delivering results in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Experience Desirable:
Offshore industry knowledge, preferably in renewables or a related sector with exposure to subsea operations.
Academic Education & Qualifications Essential:
Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, engineering, business administration, or a related field.
Academic Education & Qualifications Desirable :
A master's degree or relevant professional certifications (e.g., CSCP, CPIM, CIPS) may be .
Technical Qualifications:
Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools (e.g., ERP systems, inventory management software, data analytics tools).
Knowledge of quality standards and regulatory requirements relevant to subsea operations.
Additional Requirements:
Flexibility to travel as required for regular visits to company warehouse in Peterhead, supplier visits, project meetings, and potential site visits.
Valid driver's license and willingness to occasionally work outside of regular office hours to meet project deadlines or address urgent issues.
