Job DescriptionOur client is a global, market leading manufacturer of products supplying diverse customer markets with multiple sites in the UK and Internationally. With a view to continued evolution of their UK operating business our customer requires a Supply Chain Manager for one of their main manufacturing sites.The Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for the movement of goods, from manufacturers and suppliers to the customers. As the SCM you will oversee and manage every stage of the production flow from purchasing the raw materials to the delivery of the final product. Using your expertise to develop strategies to increase safety, efficiency, and productivity.The SCM will be the driver of continual improvement within customer service, product safety, quality, legality, and systems improvements to support business growth targets. Experience required will include the following:Responsible for end-to-end site Supply Chain activitiesSales, Inventory and Operations PlanningInternal and external stakeholder influenceDemand managementMaterial managementEffective managerial information communicationSupply Planning PerformanceForecasting and demand performance improvementData analysisOPEX and CAPEX managementOptimisation of capacity planningContinuous improvement of supply chain processes utilising ERP systemsLeadership and managementWe do encourage applications from any Supply Chain Manager who would be working in high volume manufacturing, even if you feel that you dont tick every box stated above.
